This company has good prices of rifle kits.

Has anyone delt with them?

I am wondering if they offer quality parts.

I want to attempt a standard 20" A2 for my attempt to put a rifle together.

I put together a Garrison MFG. kit about 8 months ago. It has an A3 upper with a Keyhole forge mark. I use the shit out of this rifle, including lots of bump firing and it runs like a clock, I love it.

They built a 9mm upper I owned and it ran like a champ. Never had any issues with it. I have since sold it and never heard any problems from the buyer.

I am thinking about buying my first kit and was dissapointed at the information on their site.  I read somewhere that they were good, but it is hard to get information from the Internet.

Got my kit.  Put it together.  Had a small problem and they helped me.  I am very pleased with the fit and finish.

This is my first build, so I am not an expert.  But, for future builds, if Garrison has what I want, they have my business.

i have built half a dozen garrissons and love them as do my friends who had me set up their AR's , although their website is weak for info, call Kevin and he will spend as much time as you need if you have questions. He is a true gentleman and a good business man, I lost a 1 spring and he sent me just about 2 of everything no charge..He will continue to get my biz, as a matter of fact I am waiting for my new 11.5 kit to arrive as I type this.

built to date 4 16 inch .556  models, 1 16" 9 MM model, 1 20 inch stainelss bullbarrel model all of which perform with out a hiccup. you will not be sorry dealing with Garrison...

Just got my kit from Garrison today and I gotta tell you.  I'm really impressed.  The packaging was awesome and product looks great.  Dont be turned away from their website.  Just give them a call, leave a message if need be, they're super friendly.  I got my order in just a few days.  They only charged me $15 for shipping when the actual shipping cost was $17 something.

So overall, I will definitely be ordering from them in the future.  Awesome company to work with.

You guys did your recent kits have the M4 cuts receivers and a M4 6 positions stock ?

Because first time I e-mail them and they reply back on 9/5/08 they said that was in a transitioning period for doing just that for all there kit's in the 16" A 3 types chrome lined ones at lest.

Just curious as to how far they are along in doing that I did call them and left a message during normal business hours and reached a answering machine but yet no call back and that's been over a week now.

I posted a ? asking about products over on the "kit's" thread first asking for info from people who have built there kit's to know where to see any pictures and other info because like it's be said there's not to much to see at the web site.

Look as some have said they where GTG but none that had actually built them was saying that,

Then I seen this posting today so maybe you can tell me more about them concerning the M4 cuts in the receivers, and type of stocks being part of there kit's being sent out now ?

Thanks a bunch for your input.

On my most recent build from Garrison  as with all I have built , they come with the M4 ramps and  a 6 Pos stock, you can request a M4 style or a Car style stock. In talking with Kent about his website, he has heard the same issue with lack of content, he is in a tough spot , if he expands the sight it may push him intot eh being TOO busy area and his product or customer service may be affected. Also Like many Manufacturers, he has supply issues , At his current size he can keep pace most of the time with demand, but if he gets bigger it may cause back orders for customers , which he doesnt want. I myself have never had a back order but he does have them now and again.. but they are fixed pretty fast most times.

Just called them back today and I think he is feeling the growing pains now too for the M4 type build kits at lest.

He said that he just put in an order for the M4 contour barrels, and it would be a 4 to 6 week wait on them to come in, but that may be just for the Chrome lined ones not real sure ?

But He did say he had a few he would look through to see if they would be like the one I wanted CL with M4 cuts cause some come with them and some don't, and that he would get back with me tomorrow with his options.

They seem to be in the same place a lot of other company's are in right now with certain types of barrels being hard to keep in stock.

Thanks all for your input's it's very much appreciated.

Best,
