I have a Noveske barrel and need to install the lo pro gas block, the pin is freaking thick as a tree!!

Any suggestions on going about installing this without causing any damage to my self, barrel, block, or pin.  Tool suggestions as far as clamping devices to hold the barrel steady, and appropriate tools to make life easier would be greatly appreciated.  Also, how do I keep the gas block from rotating around the barrel as I am driving the pin in place?

I have already gone over the sticky on installation in the build it your self forum, but am looking for info specific to lopro blocks, and any successes anyone else has had.

Thanks.

Does the block have one set screw to hold it in place?

Grease the pin and hole and tap it in with a brass hammer.

Just like sex...lol

Is the barrel dimpled for the set screw?

If it was dimpled it probably wouldn't move.

Guess I'll just make a jig of some kind or a block to support the gas block and whack away.  Hope it goes well.

Green Loctite might hold it in place with the set screw while you install the pin.
