[ARCHIVED THREAD] - first time build - need upper recommendation

I'm building my first AR based on a DPMS lower. Can someone recommend a complete upper with a 16" chrome lined MP-Inspected barrel (M4 or HB profile), M4 feed-ramps, and A3 flat top? I'm not worried if it includes the bolt-carrier group or not, but it should be MPI if included.

I checked BCM, but they're out of stock on everything that even remotely matches my specifications. My Illinois residence also limits me to semi-auto.

LMT would fit all the criteria. Although Stag would be close and save you a few $$. I would go with a m4 profile but that is personal preference.

From one newbie to another, good luck! I just got my upper today and am eagerly awaiting all the other parts to put this thing together. Anyway, I might throw out another manufacturer although I'm not sure if they do MPI testing on their barrels, they have a pretty good reputation. Sabre Defense. A few of the sponsoring companies up top here carry them and they seem to get pretty high marks across the boards.

If your looking to get something with M4 feedramps then I would Highly Recommend LMT.
