To mount a harris, you need to find the exact bottom of the FF tube and drill/tap for a sling stud.  If you don't get the stud on the bottom, your rifle will be out of level, which will cause your shots to cast off to the side.
You can get a tilt bipod to compensate.
I made a tilt adapter for my rifle that works on sort of the same idea as the Versa Pod bipod, but uses a regular harris bipod

The blocky part is mounted to the rifle on a swivel stud hole with a 10-32 countersunk screw.
The round piece has a swivel stud on the bottom to which the bipod is attached.
A 1/2" stainless ball lock pin holds the two pieces together.

Here is a pic with the bipod mounted in a more conventional matter

IS THIS ALL I NEEDhttp://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc217/THE-BIG-BOSS78/item_1303_1_lg.jpg...OR SHOULD I GET A RAIL AND IF SO 3 IN OR 4, THANKS ALOT FOR THE HELP

That would be enough...a rail you only need to add if you want more seperation between the bipod and your handguards, as that is all it will get you...Why drill 2 or more holes when you only need to drill 1?

So then theres no real benefit to putting a rail rather than the swivel stud, i would really like to see a pic of how the bipod attaches to just that little stud seems like it would be loose or not very sturdy, good point on drillin holes RR5

On a varmint hunter foregrip like that, little point to a rail...if you want a vertical grip, its best to go with a rail system or standard handguards...

Ive actually mounted my Harris clone to my 9mm plinker on the aftermarket forward sling mount, and it seems very sturdy...

Pic of stud on handguard

pic of how bipod latches on to stud

pic of tension screw, tightened to draw bipod tight to forend

It is plenty sturdy, though I expect a concerted effort tightening the thing could pull out the stud.  If it is installed with a nut on the back instead of tapping the aluminum, it isnt coming off without really breaking something.
