| I will also be taking off my FSB and replacing it with a LaRue low profile gas block. Are there any tricks or special tools I will need to do this correctly? Does the tube just slide right into the new gas block? |

Getting the tube into the new gas block is the easy part. Getting the tube out of the old block is the hard part. The carbon seals it tight. I soaked my over night. The only tools are punches for the taper pins and tube roll pin. Vice grips with blue tape on the jaws works great for getting the roll pin back in. |
I'd recommend buying a new gas tube. Cheap insurance, especially if you decide to try and use your old one, then damage it. Good luck and post some photos when you're done! Mike |
