Posted pic in an earlier topic about a barrel question ( which one to buy?) and not one comment about my green roll marks? Loveum or hateum, it's all mine. After all Washington is the evergreen state. halfProblem is, I haven't finished my first and I'm already thinking a lightweight build for the wife. Used Testors enamel paint and a Testors Model Master brush 3/0 fine tip. Let it dry for about 10-15 min. Then took a couple layers of gun patches and rubber banned them on top of one of the small paint bottle to make a flat surface. Put a little hoppy's solvent on it and gently rubbed off any paint not in the grooves. Hope that helps. |
That's a lot of help, thanks! So you just painted as closely in the logo as you could and removed the rest? What is hoppy's solvent? |
