I'd like some experienced opinions on these feedramps on two different uppers I have.

The section of the feedramps that extends into the upper receiver seem very minimal on both.
Would it be worthwhile to dremel them to make them more like this illustration of M-4 feedramps?:

(This last pic was helpfully posted elsewhere on this site by someone whom I cannot credit, as I can't find that thread anymore)

Would it better to keep the existing anodizing, or to improve the geometry with dremel and end up with unanodized ramps?
Both have been reliable so far, but are new, and not yet shot much.

BTW, the first picture is a 6.8 SPC (which I hear may need M4 feedramps more than 5.56)
The second picture is a 5.56 upper.

Thanks!

How much have you shot them and what has the function been like thus far?

if they feed with no hang ups; don't worry about it.

As long as they work, don't take a dremel to it.

They look ok to me.
