[ARCHIVED THREAD] - H-Buffer??

I built a M4 carbine and used an H buffer in it. I have since changed to a recce middy w/ a 16" barrel. Do I still need it, or should I go to a normal carbine buffer?

You don't "need" it, but it won't hurt to leave it in.

H-buffers is the coolest, thats all i run

+1 Either standard carbine or H buffer will work fine on a 16" middy.

I've tried both buffers on my 16" barrel medium contour middy carbine and they work OK but I'm just using the standard carbine buffer on my middy now and I'm using my H buffer on my CAR gas system carbine because it needs the heavier buffer more.
