I spent about a year thinking this one through and getting the parts together. Just finished function testing for 1000 rounds and everything is working flawlessly. I really think my favorite part of the rifle is the Geissele trigger, though. It makes me hate to shoot everything else in my stable.

Here is the rundown on the parts: Colt lower Colt lower parts kit Geissele Trigger Group Ion Bond BCG Enidine Hydraulic Buffer M93b Stock Colt Upper 14.5 Colt 1/7 twist M4 profile barrel Vltor Flash Hider (pinned to bring it to 16) Vltor CASV Handguards Bobro Vertical Foregrip Aimpoint Comp ML2 Larue Mount Streamlight TLR-2 Light/Laser Combo with switch system The CASV is without a doubt the best rail I have ever used (DD, Troy, Larue, etc are great, but this is my favorite). I love the mounting options and the solid lockup. I also like the fact that you can remove the bottom portion for barrel maintenance. What makes this rifle fun to shoot is the trigger, though. |
