I am in the process of gathering parts for my first build. While I like the idea of the A2's carry handle, my eyes would perhaps be better served by a flat-top. However, does the option of a detachable carry handle not offer the best of both worlds? I'm leaning toward the A2 because I would perhaps like to re-enter the Service Rifle competitions, but opinions/advice are appreciated! Thanks! |

Really prefer the removable carry handle... I have a Bushmaster that I use in CMP matches w/ the removable and just built an m4gery (flat top). I guess its a personal thing, but i prefer the option to remove the cary handle and place optics if I choose... So, I suppose, it's all about aesthetics and personal preference...... |
