[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Adding a Mid-Length Handguard

If I go with a 16'' CMMG upper without the mid-length handguard installed, and I install a Cav Arms M4 mid-length will there be any special tools needed. Is this something that can be done with out removing the front sight and if not, how long would it take?

if it's a 2 piece handguard you will not have to remove the FSB. The cav arms are the fat m4 style middie guards, right? They should pop right on there like a standard set of handguards.
