Here is a pic of the Phantom and crush washer that came with it in my Del-Ton kit.

When installed finger tight the brake indexes perfectly so I will need one full turn against the washer to index it properly under torque.

Will I be able to get on full turn?   I don't want to install it with this washer if it is not going to work.

Thanks.

Here is a picture with it on the rifle, finger tight.

You can see that it indexes without any torque.

Good to know!  Thanks.

I am tempted to swap it with the flash hider on middy since that is more of my 'competition' gun and this one is my KISS carbine.

And if you need it pinned - that's the guy to go to ADCO!

Not ready to go that route yet.  Mounted on a 16" barrel.   Actually pinning (if needed) seems pretty straight forward, as long as you have access to a welder.

I can't remember how much of a turn I got out of mine when I installed it beyond "finger tight".  All I know is when I could not get it much further it was perfect.  Now I need to get a phantom for my AK.

Thanks all.

My KISS CAR is now wearing the A2 and my middy has the Phantom.

As easy to do as it seemed.  Now to see how much louder the middy is with the Phantom.
