[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Matching an Armalite upper.

I got in on the Armalite upper sale and now if I actually get my upper...knock on wood, I need to find a reciever or built lower to slap it to. I know anodized finishes vary but what recievers seem to match up well with Armalite's? Are the Armalite's teflon coated?

One of their eagle lowers will match perfectly.

Tag, I got in the deal ( I hope ) to the tune of two M4 complete uppers. Will probably build them up on superior lowers but if there is a better choice in the same price range....

My Armalite upper is on a Rock River Arms lower, and the match is pretty near perfect. If you look REALLY closely, you can see a bit of difference, but it is a much better match than my all Bushmaster carbine.

Go, but I've got other AR's, just want to have a 20" er. Doesn't have to be real pretty but if there are several lowers in the same price range I'd just assume get one that will match pretty close. Is the DPMS lowers and Armalite's finish a pretty close match?
