I've decided to build my first AR-15. I'm going to build a street fighter; designed for the SHTF mean streets of America, post crash-go-boom, and to-hell-in-a-hand-basket. Anyway. I've decided on a receiver from Anvil Arms. I'm thinking of a trigger. I want an accurate trigger, but I'm not shooting at targets. Probably two-stage. My design philosophy for this gun is KISS, kick ass, and zero defects. Other than watching several videos on building an AR-15, I'm a newbie. I don't have extensive knowledge of parts vendors or their reps. What trigger group do you think I should consider for this setup? BTW, yes, cost is a factor. I won't spend $300 on a trigger for a street-fight gun. I want control, precision and reliability on an import beer budget. (maybe I'm dreaming) Thanks. |
Nice how? |

If going the RRA 2 Stage route get the one from ADCO with the weak link removed, "removed the standard peened in place disconnector pin with a press fit hardened tool steel pin, that can not fall out." You could get Bill Springfield to tune your stock trigger, the SSA would be better for SHTF though. |
