I've decided to build my first AR-15. I'm going to build a street fighter; designed for the SHTF mean streets of America, post crash-go-boom, and to-hell-in-a-hand-basket.

Anyway. I've decided on a receiver from Anvil Arms. I'm thinking of a trigger. I want an accurate trigger, but I'm not shooting at targets. Probably two-stage. My design philosophy for this gun is KISS, kick ass, and zero defects.

Other than watching several videos on building an AR-15, I'm a newbie. I don't have extensive knowledge of parts vendors or their reps.  What trigger group do you think I should consider for this setup? BTW, yes, cost is a factor. I won't spend $300 on a trigger for a street-fight gun. I want control, precision and reliability on an import beer budget. (maybe I'm dreaming)

Thanks.

Not dreaming.............Geissele combat trigger. (not out till December) but check here for more detail. They can be pre-ordered from Adco as the SSA Trigger ($145.00). Good luck with your new build.

Check over on the gulf states hometown. We did a group buy on lowers from AA and some bought a lpk also. I think he gets $55 for it and is has good quality stuff. Ask jon about them when you order the lower.

one of the best buys for for buck is the RRA NM 2 stage trigger
works very nice and not as expensive as some of the others

just my 2 cents

If going the RRA 2 Stage route get the one from ADCO with the weak link removed, "removed the standard peened in place disconnector pin with a press fit hardened tool steel pin, that can not fall out."

You could get Bill Springfield to tune your stock trigger, the SSA would be better for SHTF though.
