I am buying a Delton kit. I'll put this on a Stag lower. This rifle will be for Target/Range shooting. Maybe varminting, who knows!

I've done a good bit of research but still am not sure on a few things.

Is a chrome lined barrel necessary? What benefits does it offer?

If I opt for a detachable carry handle, that will include the rear sight correct?

You'll probably get 200 people to say yes, it's a necessity, but in all reality....it's not. ( Ya, I know, I'm a blasphemer...

)
It will make it easier to clean, as well as be resistant to corrosive ammo, but for the "avaerage" AR (plinker) I don't think it's 100% necessary....but then again, it's a cheap upgrade if you're that concerned.
