After leaving the AR builds for awhile to learn how to build AKs (it is a blast compared to the Lego assembly of an AR) I am back to take it to the next level.  After searching I did not find the answer to this, but where can I get a 80% lower receivers?  And any advice going into this would be appreciated.

I would highly recommend the 80% lowers from Kevin.  His email can be found over at CNCGuns.com.  Send him an email and he'll let you know if he has any in stock.  I have used a couple of his with excellent results, every area is done to spec.  If i remember correctly, his were going for $125 shipped.  But check with him.  And good luck.

His name is Justin and you can email him at [email protected]

www.cncguns.com

Or you can contact him at:
Justin Halford
JWH Enterprises
P.O. Box 16532
Jonesboro, AR 72403

Since he doesn't have a manufacturers license, he only makes them to 10%, not 80%.
But if you have the machining capability and tools, he makes a great 6061 billet.

There is also a link to a guy named Kevin, on the same site, and he does indeed sell 80% lowers and is in fact recommended by Justin.

Not fair, now you distracted me.  I went to the CNC website and left with plans on building a 22 LR silencer.  I did not find the 80% receivers (or perhaps don't know what I am looking for).  Please advise.

On the cnc website, click on tooling at the top.  Then scroll down and you will come to a section where he recommends using lowers from Kevin and provides his email address and a few pics of his 80%'ers.

on the other hand, you could just email him direct at [email protected]

hope this helps
