I have a Tac 20 coming from Dtech and needed a new lower , OK didn't NEED, just WANTED!! I had an OLY lower I got before the ban years ago and a DPMS parts kit. Got on Brownell's site and ordered a Magpul trigger guard, a Wilson Tactical Bolt Latch and An ACE skeleton stock. I picked up a Timney drop in trigger from PK. I managed to put the lower together and the Timney trigger was so simple I couldn't believe how easy it went. the only issue I had was the bolt catch hole was not deep enough in the lower and I had to do some adjusting on that with a coil or two clipped off the spring to boot. The foam tubing sleeve went on super easy and all and all it was a great experience. Thank goodness for vice grips and FP 10. I'll shoot it Odin a 223 UltraMatch tomorrow and see how it goes. Greg |
