I'm building a retro A1, and cannot find a screw for the top of the buttstock.  Will an A2 buttstock screw work(need to cut it?)  It seems like nobody carries these.  

It's the last part that I need.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

yes, a cut A2 screw will work, threads are the same, as the buffer tube is the same

Fulton armory sells the A1 screw.

Midway and Del-Ton have them too.  If you're going to cut an A2 screw, cut it exactly in half for the correct length.
