I put together a 204 on a stag lower and A3 flat top upper. I have noticed that the brass is striking the deflector on the upper and denting the case at the shoulder. Impacts are hard enough that they are marking the upper with brass particles. Any info on how I can alter the ejection angle of the brass to keep it from striking the upper?

Thanks,

Troy

Dont alter anything, that is why the chunk of Al is there in the first place.

That's why they call it the deflector

If you are trying to save the brass to reload, you could glue a small piece of rubber (like a bicycle inner tube) to the deflector face to reduce damage to your brass.
