Wondering if anyone knows the thread pitch for the barrel nut/upper receiver?

Upper receiver threads: 18 TPI
Major Diameter: 1.246 on the receiver Im measuring. My guess is the spec is 1.250 but I have never found any upper blueprint that specs the threads. Hope this helps, and curious as to why you want to know (machining an upper?)

those are the same #'s I guessed at.
As for the why- working on a project to adapt AR rails to another platform- need to machine an adapter nut to mount the rails on to the other host. Well I guess since we both came to the same guess will give it a shot!!
