I just got my Rock River Arms NM trigger and I'm having mucho problems with the installation. I did everything step by step but have a trigger and selector issue.
It seems that the rear portion of the trigger is not allowed enough travel to release the hammer. The selector switch stops it just short of releasing the hammer. As it would normally do while in safe mode. When the selector switch is not installed the trigger action is absolutely sweet. This is just sucking ass.
I've triple checked the install process and everything is perfect. I put the original trigger back in and it's all back to normal working condition. I guess I'm stuck in single stage at the moment untill I get get this resolved.
Also, I've read that the trigger and hammer pins are supposed to be very tight. Well, mine will go in with just a easy finger push. Is there another set of pins that I should be using?

What kind of lower receiver and what brand of selector switch are you using?

My rifle is a S&W M&P 15T.  If I am to assume correctly the lower is made by Stag.  All the parts are stock which would include the selector.
There is definitely a fit issue with the rear portion of the RRA trigger and my stock selector.
Still at a loss.

It is probably a problem with the size of the tail of the RRA trigger and the groove in teh selector switch.  Check both for burrs or raised areas that are not allowing clearance of the trigger tail.  Some light filing may be needed.  Just go slow so that you don't remove so much material that the saftey won't function.  I would recommend rmoving material from the selector switch, because it is cheaper to replace if you do mess up.

I just talked with Steve, one of the technicians at Rock River Arms. His recommendation was to remove material from the selector. If that process doesn't work then another selector would be needed.
Well, let the fun begin. I have the tools at work so this shouldn't be that big of a deal. I'll post an update with the outcome.

Well this is intersting.  I have installed 6 or so RRA NM triggers over the years, am just now having this very same problem.  Purchased my trigger about 6 weeks ago and just now getting around to installing it.  Same problem, tail of the trigger won't install past the safty selector.  Took the selector out and istalled the trigger, put hte saftey back in and the trigger won't function.  This is on a CMMG lower, don't know who made the parts kit.

I had the same problem on my last build. Fortunately I had 3 or 4 spare selectors and swapped them until I found one that worked.

Yup', same problems on my 15T and RRNM trigger installation as the OP: selector and pins.

I had 2 RRNM triggers available, and the second installed without issue. The original RR trigger I had difficulties installing on the 15T went into a 15A with no problems.

This sounds like an RRA problem to me, RRA QC getting sloppy?
