| I ordered a mid length kit on 6/13, had to wait on the chrome lined 16" heavy barrel which was out of stock. I finally called them today and find out now I'm waiting on the phantom 5c2 flash hider which they don't know when will come in, and the flat top upper with m4 feed ramps. She said they were told another 4-5 weeks on the feed ramps, but if I want to cancel the feed ramps and put my own flash hider on my gun then I could go ahead and get it shipped now. I'm tired of waiting on my gun!!!!!!!! Should I get it without the feed ramps?? and go ahead and order my phantom 5c2 flash hider somewhere else and just put it on myself??? I've read that the feed ramps are really not important anyway, opinions on what I should do appreciatated!!! Thanks |
| Ordered from Del-ton. I'm not sure if the barrel extension itself will have the m4 feed ramps on it or not, I can cut them into my receiver with a dremel if so. It's the 16" mid-length HBAR. Anybody know if its m4 ramped or not from del-ton? BTW I'm not asking what m4 ramps are!!!! lol |
| Ok, I called and downgraded to the standard upper and also found out that the barrel only comes with m4 feed ramps if I wait for the m4 ramped upper which I cancelled, they wont put the m4 ramped barrel extension in it without the lower being m4 also. If I have any trouble I'll just order an m4 barrel extension and change it out and dremel my upper. I also cancelled the phantom 5c2 flash hider and will order it online and install it myself. Should I get an extra crush washer when I order it? Maybe this info will help somebody else if they're gonna order a del-ton kit. |
