OK you guys. I need your help. I am looking to build an AR. I need an Upper, preferably complete, a stripped lower, a lower parts kit and a stock. I have been looking into spike lowers, RRA parts kits, and a magpul stock Spike's Lower Single Stage trigger parts kit Magpul Stock These are the parts I was thinking about, but I am totally willing to change those if you guys say there is better for around the same price. My max price is $1000. Someone said Stag Arms uppers, but your input would be awesome. |

I just ordered my first AR Spikes Lower with colored bullet markings 125.00 Legal Transfers complete Stag upper. Everything was included and ready for my stripped lower. Flat top, A3, ARMS 40 BUIS rear, standard A2 front, 16" M4 profile. LPK and stock included. He made mine NY compliant with a non-collapsing M4 look alike. Great guy to work with. I'll have a thread up when mine is complete. Highly recomend Pete at Legal Transfers. 633.00 for the upper. Leaves me plenty of room for add ons down the road. |

Edit: It's 4 in the morning and I'm trying to stay awake! No it was for the complete upper with stock and LPK. Thats all I had to add was a stripped lower. Here ya go.... Stag upper |

OK, first off, you can't have that Magpul stock in California due to the state assault weapons ban. Unfortunately, you can only have non-collapsing stocks. Second, for all the parts you are looking for, I would check Bravo Company, PK Firearms, ADCO, CMMG, or Denny's Guns. They can get you the same things you are getting from the manufacturers at a cheaper price. I have 4 of the Spikes Tactical lowers so you can't go wrong there. Also, check the Equipment Exchange for good prices on lightly used parts. Good Luck |
Well: 633 +125 ------- 758 That get you enough to fire 10 rounds in NY. Now like I said, I need pre-ban 30 rounders and ammo. If your talking optics then you can add $100's quicker then you know it. Look around. I researched for a good 4 weeks here before joining and then a few more before I order yesterday. I know Pete at Legal Transfers can help you out for CA. If your moving wait until you get to TN to get your rifle. As stated it seems most won't even mess with CA, except Pete. |
