[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First build..RRA middy

My very first AR build. Thanks to the guide in this forum, it was a piece of cake.

RRA 16" Midlength A2 Upper on a EA Lower, with a DPMS LPK, CAA 6 pos. stock, CAA spare mag holder. Build took about an hour, taking my time not to scratch anything, next time will be a lot quicker. And I even got the front detent in on the first try!

I've got a good bit less tied up in this rifle, including 500 rounds of Brown Bear plinkin' ammo, than the factory built version.

Plan to go break it in tomorrow!

Nice looking build.... I recently completed one very similiar myself. Mine was a flattop version. Have fun popping her cherry.
