This is a build that I just finished up as a birthday gift for a buddy. It turned out to be a great shooter. With the Sully stock the balance of the carbine is exceptional and my custom QD swivel turned out to be a great idea. As you'd expect based on the parts list, functionality has been 100% thus far (about 1200rds to date. Everything from Wolf to Q3131A). Build Details - Superior Arms Lower - CMT LPK w/Single Stage Trigger - Magpul MIAD - Magpul Trigger Guard - Sully Stock (modified to include QD swivel) - KNS Trigger Pins - CMT Upper w/M4 Ramps - CMMG 16" Mid-length Govt Profile - LaRue 9.0 - YHM Phantom 5C2 - LMT BCG - McFarland Gas Ring - SLR-15 Extraction System - CMT Charging Handle w/BO Model 2 Latch - Magpul Rail & Ladder Panels - Trijicon FS - LaRue Same Plane BUIS - LaRue 2-Point Sling Optics of some type (EOTech 553 or ACOG) will be added as funds allow for them. Update: My buddy purchased an EOTech 511 and Surefire X200a for this carbine earlier this week. Next is a Surefire EOTech mount. Then the carbine will be "done" (for now). It has turned out to be a great shooter and he is very happy.  ETA: Scratch that... The 511 is going back. We're looking at our options (again). Looks like it might be a 553 instead. If we go that route the LaRue BUIS will be swapped out for a Troy. |
