Bought a pistol upper from Model 1. The front gas block is canted 6.5 degrees to the left of the centerline formed by the A3 upper and the barrel. The front gas block has four Allen head screws. If I loosen the screws up and move the gas block to the right 6.5 degrees to put it in line with the upper is there any issue of being centered over the gas port hole in the barrel? Or is there enough play in the bottom of the gas port block that this is no problem?
Am I looking at the problem from the wrong angle and something else needs to be done or should I send it back?
I have emailed Model 1 the same question and got no response. Been to busy at work to call them. They have no one there late or on the weekends.

Try it, if it turns into a single-shot just put it back where it started. Once you get it worked out, be sure to use some red loctite on the threads.

Go ahead and remove the gas block and check to make sure gas hole is VERY close to center, and the block is just moved. If the gas hole is misaligned, contact Model-1 for replacement. May just be a simple fix, but could be incorrectly torqued barrel extension.
