Absolutely Norrells.  Norrells + Airbrush + Oven = wonderfully finished results
I just did a whole bolt action rifle, a bunch of AR mags, and an AR upper, lower, and LPK with Norrells and it all looks like it came from the factory.  Not as many colors as Duracoat & others, but the finish & wear resistance of Norrell's is the best I've used.

Another +1 for moly resin. I have a bolt action deer rifle I had built last year with stainless barrel and action. I had it coated in black moly resin and it held up extremely well on it's first year in the woods. Not a single scratch, and this gun gets USED! It's no safe queen. If/when I coat a gun again. it'll probably the only thing I consider.

The moly resin is very thin but tough. The benfit, is it's thin enough to not effect fit in tight tolerance parts. For example, my entire bolt, lugs and all, is coated and it does not have an appreciable effect on head space or the function of any of the moving parts. Even the wear surfaces on the bolt look good.

I hear pretty good things about dura coat, but it's thicker and I've heard it can chip more readily then Moly. There is a ceramic finish also (called ceramocoat or something like that) that is supposed to be head and shoulders above everything else in terms of durability but again, it's thicker. More $$$ too.

i just did a homebuilt recumbent bicycle with six coats of duracoat.maybe i did something wrong, but i triple checked everything before starting and everytime i started a new coat.so far, i'm very less than impressed with duracoat.but i'm no professional finisher, and may have missed a trick, but i don't think so.all my measuring of hardener to paint was checked and rechecked very often.maybe it will get tougher with time as advertised, but the channel locks i sprayed the excess duracoat on is flaking like a cheap rattle can job.and the flakes themselves are brittle.on the bike, contact points are wearing thru to bare metal just like you'd expect rattle can paint to do.i'll test it in about a month to see if there is some magical hardening/toughening going on, but i'm not expecting miracles...

+100 on Norrel's. Get a $6 harbor freight Airbrush. And a $23 bottle of Norrel's. Many different colors to choose from. Terry Cross did a custom rifle for me in OD Cerakote. Very nice too.

For what you're doing, Norrels is the best stuff on the market.
