I'm looking to get a spikes tactical lower and am currently deciding between a few uppers for my build this next month. I was looking at a Stag upper but have one concern. I owned a stag a couple years ago and one problem I always had was the upper receiver having a white, hazey look to it all the time...is there a way to correct this problem or are most uppers like this? I was also looking into an RRA upper and a Del-Ton upper. Do you know who makes the delton upper and if its good quality? Also assuming the white hazey look is fixable which route would be a better choice to go with....Stag. RRA, or Del-ton? I would like something that matches somewhat close with the spikes lower and just wanted to see if anyone had one of these combos out there. Thanks, Ryan |
| I put my RRA mid length upper on my spikes lower and it wasn't a perfect match. The finish is a little more greyish on the spikes lower, where as the RRA upper is jet black. It didn't look bad, and in some lighting you couldn't even tell, but it wasn't a perfect match. I was thinking about putting a CMMG upper on my spikes lower because their finish looks more greyish than some of the other manufacturers. |
