Okay, I give.  I NEED a 50 Beowulf.  It looks like I can get a 16" upper for $599.  In a large caliber I think I would rather have in longer barrel.  Any coments?  Also, the place I found for $599 is back ordering any suggestions?  Also pointers for a green horn on the Beowulf is apperciated.

If you go to 50Beowulf.com, you can read more... But as I understand it, with this cal/load, more barrel isn't giving you much.  I know they used to sell longer barrels...but I don't think they were hugely popular.

I know where there is a 50 Beowulf carbine with a 16-inch A3 with railed front sight base on a RRA lower brand new for $799 COMPLETE with one mag.

The original price was something like $1199 but they keep marking it down as it has not sold for them for a LONG time.

I tried to suggest to them that they need to sell it online as very few people will walk into a shop and want a gun like that especually in PA where we can not hunt with it.  Oh yea, I handled it just yesterday when I bought a used Bushmaster for $650

They are a kick (no pun intended) but if you buy one plan on getting into reloading.
It costs about $1/round to shoot it
