[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model1Sales?

Anyone know if there's something going on at Model1Sales? I placed an order with them last week but I can't get a response by e-mail or telephone. Been trying for two days and keep getting a ring-no-answer.

The reason that I ask is that I ordered a complete upper assembly from them last month, and received the package within a week. When I called customer service to get a UPS tracking number they answered right away. This is strange behavior IMO.

I ordered a parts kit from them two weeks ago, got a order confirmation w/o shipping charges and never got a shipping confirmation, exactly a week later the kit was on my doorstep, thought that was kinda weird

Thanks for the links. I read the posts and almost all of the comments were positive.

I'm not slamming Model1Sales. I was happy with the earlier purchase and customer service. Just wondering if someone knows what's going on now since the behavior's so different.

Surely you noticed the inconsitent communications reported and the members that had issues did not report that those issues had been resolved to their satisfaction.

I just ordered a kit on wednesday and they told me they would be closed thurs, fri, sat and sun for inventory. Hope this helps out.

I know they used to have a habit of packing small items in big boxes (and charge shipping accordingly). I assume that problem has gone away?
