Im building my 1st build. I am going wiht a delton upper but cant decide which is better lower, either doublestar or the spikestactical... anyone wiht expericne wiht these? the doublestar is a better price at $225 shipped. Any advice would be appreciated.

DoubleStar is great, and spikes is LAR Manufacturing. Both are good product.

I would contact your dealer of choice, and purchase the lower that meets your standards. That said, give Anvil Arms a call. I have had great experiences with them. Their prices are great, their customer service is impeccable, and their quality is top notch. (disclaimer: Just a happy customer of theirs!)

Superiors are great and 89 bucks, at Aim Surplus.I have 2 on those and they are excellent lowers.

I have both Spikes and Superior, I think the Spikes finish is nicer , both mated up to my RRA uppers great . Spikes gives great customer service and ships everything overnight..

i went with the spikes lower, and i'm more than pleased. good finish and fits really well with the del-ton upper. also have you looked into buying one of del-tons kits and just a stripped lower? it may save you a few bucks.

I really like the looks of my P.O.F. 416 Gen II upper. Only about $25 more than the one you are looking at for a billet lower. All of the other lowers I've seen to date are "Chevy's", while that POF is a Ferrarri.

Same question kind of:

What is the concensus on Stag lowers? I am looking at picking up a Noveske rifleworks lower (possibly the entire rifle). I believe the lowers are manufactured by Stag with the Noveske stamp. That might be incorrect. Any thoughts?
