[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lower parts Kit

I bought a lower parts kit from J&T Distributing at the last Indy 1500 gunshow. It does'nt have a very good trigger pull, and the safety is hard to engage/disengage. It is installed in a STAG lower. Would a STAG/CMT or LMT parts kit be worth me buying. Would it make any difference in how the trigger and safety work?

They may be better out of th box, but I'd give the cuurent LPK a chance to break in first - dry fire a bunch, I've had LPKs break in nicely that way.

I'd work it a while and see what happens.

You can always put in a Rock River Match trigger. Once you try one you'll be hooked.
