I recently saw an ad on another board for 16" AR-15 parts kits from Garrison Mfg. Inc.  I have asked Garrison a few questions and they seem OK but the price has me wondering...$425 - stripped lower (+$50 for chrome barrel).  This is a bit lower than most others I have seen.  I have seen positive posts about their 9mm product, but does anyone have any experience with the 223 parts?

They are using:

16" barrel Wilson Arms chrome moly 1/9 twist with heavy barrel diameter and threaded barrel with A-2 flash hider. Barrel is parkerized  (Wilson supplied completely finished barrels to Garrison).

Complete bolt carrier and charging handle made by a gov't contractor

Either A-3 or A-2 upper receiver. A-3 kits don't include detachable carry handle. Uppers are made by a govt. contractor. Standard black anodized finish.

Lower parts kit. All parts are U.S. made. No plastic parts in lower parts kit.

A-2 pistol grip

Either A-2 standard complete buttstock or complete C.A.R. stock.  CAR stock made by the same company who makes Bushmaster
