I've been wanting to try and wait it out for a MEGA lower but that may take a career . . . Anybody have any experience with the Global Tactical lower? I think they are supposed to be made by CMT/Stag. Any thoughts on Teflon finish vs. Standard black? THANKS IN ADVANCE! |

Global Tatical lower is what I and many others have used. Denny just gets Stag lowers that aren't stamped with a caliber, or a logo, and then has his Global Tactical logo stamped on it (looks like an atom). cooler than Stag antlers, and every bit as high a quality. can't comment on the finish |

Looking at Denny's website it says "ONE OF THE CLEANEST LOWERS ON THE MARKET. BUILT TO MY SPECS BY CMT/STAG ARMS, ONE OF THE MOST RESPECTED OEM MANUFACTURERS IN THE BUSINESS . . . HARD MIL-SPEC ANODIZED RICH DARK BLACK AND A GREAT FIT WITH CMT OR OTHER IN SPEC UPPERS." It says the finish is MIL-SPEC but, are the receivers themselves MIL-SPEC? I just seemed a little vague. |
why is everyone hung up on "mil spec" I do not have one of his lowers, but they are made by CMT/Stag and I have 2 of the Stag marked lowers and they are very nice. Used a RRA lpk in one and a Bushmaster lpk in the other. Everything fit and works. Mike |

I live near LRB and picked up one of their receiver lowers last week. Just finished building it up over the weekend. Very nice, finish, quality and attention to machining detail. It is made by the same foundry that is making the hammer forged M14SA receivers, JV Precision in Conn.. It has a nice Cross Cannon on Flaming Bomb logo |
