I'm not sure if I need the standard gas tube or the car gas tube. My barrel is a 16" M4 barrel. My upper is a flat top, with m4 feed ramps.

You need the CAR gas tube.

The standard gas tube is for 20" barrels, or barrels with rifle length gas systems.

Im' about 80 you have a carbine length and not a midlength.

I know of 3 different lgth gas tubes.

I know of at least 8 different gas tube lengths, 5 of which are listed on my gas systems page.

Add to those the two special Armalite AR-10 gas tubes and the Intermediate length that falls in between rifle and mid-length.
