Anyone have any exp with YHM Specter gas blocks?? Thoughts? Recomendations? I have always avoided at all risk screwing around with the gas blocks cause i dont quite trust myself  I figured its only screw on (in theory) so my pet monkey could do it for me!  Any info would be great!!! I am looking to build a Car length w/ mid YHM light weight FF and possibly twinking to a SBR down the road (TAX RETURN!!!)  Idea in the making: Magpul stock/grip TD V grip YHM mid FF light weight w/ car lenght barrel and a hidden GB and Flip FSB RRA lower/CAR A4 upper and a few doo dads thanks again!!  ~SaN~ |

They are easy to install, but will not fit under DD, LaRue or similar quad rail handguards with a small inner diameter. No problem under the YHM handguard you mentioned. I use them as a "problem solver" specifically when someone has a permanent muzzle device or when they want a shoulder forward of the gas block seat like in the pictures below...
