Hi all,

Been a lurker here for awhile, and finally started my project with a stripped Bushy lower.  I have a copy of Duncan Long's book on the way from Amazon, and plan to read it fully before starting.

In the meantime, thanks in advance for the advice and apologies in advance for the stupid questions I'll ask along the way! Cheers!!

Good luck, I am getting ready to start my second build and this sight is a great resource and you can get good ideas for upgrades,I asked my share of stupid questions, but then again the only stupid question is the one we don't ask.

Thanks!  I'm looking forward to building mine.  My LGS has a few guys that have done it before too, so I have lots of resources to help.

I'm relieved.

After seeing the title, I thought this was going to be a thread about how you broke your bolt catch by pressing the trigger on a lower w/o an upper.

Good luck.  Have patience, work slow and deliberately with your first.

Can you do that? :P  I nearly flipped a lid on my first build when some family members starting playing with it and I heard the metal to metal clanking.  Fortunately enough I had loosened the springs for a trigger job and it only slightly marred the finish.
