Having problem with mags not locking up right. AR is a A1 upper with a S/A lower and a DPMS lpk. First mag I had was a used 20rd adventure line that wouldn't lock in all the time so I picked up some new CP mags and the 30 rd wont lock in at all and half the 20 rds don't either. The release button might be a hair past flush would that be the trouble? |

Angus, If you are saying that the right side mag release button is flush with the receiver or less, then yes that is the problem. It should be sticking out 3/16 of an inch or so. Look inside the receiver at the mag catch , it should be protruding into the mag well not quite 3/16 of an inch. At least that's the way I set mine up. Adjust the button out and see how it goes. leroy |
