Any chance that the bolt catch spring is ok to use instead of the normal disconnect spring? . I know I got the wrong spring in my build for the disconnect, but Trigger seems to function fine with it in. I just dread pulling the hammer out again. Thanks

If the bolt catch is working OK, leave it alone. But you should install a proper disconnect spring.

I had the same question not too long ago.  I was basically told "If it aint broke don't fix it" .  I guess the larger coil on the disconnect spring is to make it set in the hammer better for assembly.....I don't know, this is just what I was told.
