I have a lower I bought that needs a stock. I have a Bushy 6 pos that I am gonna install on it.

I have to buy the takedown pins detent and spring as well as a spring and detent for the buffer, so I went to Bushmasters sight and have found all my parts save one-

I Can NOT find a freakin back plate(goes between the castle not and stock, holds the detent in), I've looked all over their site

WHO HAS 'EM? ETA; oe where on Bushmaster sight(id prefer they all come from one source, saves shipping)

use quarterbores trick, you will never need a reciever plate again.

Actually, Quarterbore's trick is more appropriate to pistol builds with an entry stock buffer tube.

The main purpose of the lock plate is to align the buffer tube upright, NOT to retain the takedown detent spring.
Without the lock plate, you are relying only on the castle nut to hold the stock in alignment.
If the castle nut slips, the whole stock would spin around on the receiver.

Moral of the story: you DO need the lock plate.
