What scope mounts do I need with a High Rider upper from Del-ton?  Or should I just go with the Flat top?  A 2 rail gas block wont come with a front sight correct?  Where would I mount my sling? and Bipod?  Does a Chrome lined barrel last longer? or what are its pros and cons?

I am looking into this kit from del-ton.  Any guesses on weight? Any reccomendations?  sorry for all of the questions, THANKS!!!!!

M4 Buttstock - Black

A2 Flash Hider

2 Rail Gas Block

I need reccomendations for optics. I will be doing mostly coyote calling,  I heard a 3x9 may be best for those sneaky dogs that get real close.  Need input from the experts!

Strictly my $.02, but I would stick with a regular flat top. That would let you use regular backup iron sights, or other stuff. You can always add a "lifter" to the scope if you want. You can't remove the High Rider.

Chrome makes the barrel last longer, but not as accurate since the chromes thickness varies through out the bore. Not sure how much, but the long range guys mostly go without the chrome. Chrome is a little easier to clean. I would stay clear of the high rider as well. By a scope, SWFA.com can tell you how high your rings need to be otherwise by the scope and measure it, If you purchase a rail adapter for a haris bipod there is a model out there that lets you keep the haris sling attachment point, so your sling will mount between the legs of the bipod.

Not sure how far you are planning on shooting you may want to bump your scope power up if shooting past 200

3x9 is more than enoph out to 300. a flat top is the way to go and i also prefer chromelined even on a scoped rifle.
