[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lower Reciever Remarking

This will be my first foray into lower reciever remarking on the AR platform (had remarking done on HK and AK firearms). Basically, I am building an M16A2 clone and want the reciever to match the correct markings of the standard issue M16A2. Currently my reciever is a Colt Sporter marked 7.62x39. Does someone have a close up picture of an M16A2 reciever (obviously, mark out the s/n)? And who does remarking on AR lowers?

Have you looked at the Retro forum? I bet posting there will get you more pics of more recent (80s and better) M16s in addition to the Vietnam-era pics.

Thanks but I am looking for M16A2 pics. I thought about the Retro forum, but I figured it was for A1 and earlier stuff.

the pic below is from an A1 receiver but it's the same of an A2 one. the only difference is the selector: the A2 is marked Safe-Semi-Burst.
