I need to find a standard A-frame style FSB with a barrel diameter less than .700 instead of the normal .750, so that I can have it bored out to proper size for a custom job I am having done. Actually needs to be .725.

Anyway, the only one I've found was around .620 and designed to be bored out up to 1.00 for a custom bull barrel.... and it was around $60.  I'd like to spend as little as possible.

Anyone can point me towards a parts supplier?  Or, if you are a person who has these kind of FSB cheap, email or IM me so not to violate the no selling rule in this forum.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Buy a .750 FSB and make a shim.

I have 0.625" front sight bases.
These are A2 forgings with a 0.625" hole bored in them.
You could go all the way to 0.750"+ with no problem.
$35 shipped gets you one.

THought of that, but the shim/sleeve idea became too intricate as the difference is so small in size.

Just a quick followup... got the FSB from Randall over at AR15barrels.com. Looks great!

Taking it over to my smith to be bored up to the proper size I need.

Randall did quick shipping, and I'm a happy camper.

A big +1 going to his feedback.
