So I just put together my second build and I want to install the A1 grip. But I thought I read somewhere on here that I needed a different screw. Is this true or can I just use the screw that came with my A2 kit? I tried searching but came up with nothing.

You're probably thinking about the A1 and A2 stocks.

The pistol grips use the same screw.

Dem dudes is right. PGs use the same screw and star washer. A1 stocks use the short s
crew, and A2 stocks use the long screw and spacer. BTW, Why doesn't anyone sell A1 PGs or A1 BSs in all the cool colors that the A2s are available in?

I had one instance where a hex socket headed screw that came with a lower kit did not work. The A2 grip in the kit had a thinner web where the attatching screw went through. When I used that screw on an A1 grip, it only let about 1/8" of threads stick out. I used a mil spec screw, with the cross slot for a screw driver blade and it worked fine.
