I have been reading this site for a few months now while trying to decide whether or not to build my own AR. Well as you can see below I decided to do it and it is one of the best decisions I have made.

This is my fifth firearm and trust me I am already getting ready to purchase a .22lr conversion and more toys for this one. Then I might just have to build myself one with OD green furniture for when I am in the forest instead of the desert.

Welcome to the board and very nice first build. Post some specs of parts/ vendors you used. What mount do you have your Bushnell secured to? (inquiring minds want to know, so they can buy one for their Bushnell)

Update on info the Barrel is a Lothar Walther Match Bull 16" 1x8

I also received a tactical charging handle, ambi safety, and one piece gas ring for the bolt today.

Still looking for information on the mount for the Bushnell I will update when we find the paperwork.

Pictures will also becomeing soon of the newest additions.

What do you guys think about the dark earth TROY industries BUIS set for the rifle. Also where have you seen the best prices on them. Had a chance to pick up a front from someone on here but missed it.
