DPMS Stripped Lower Receiver $96 AR15 A3 RIFLE KIT / 14.5" CHROME LINED BARREL & FIXED PHANTOM FLASH HIDER / 223-5.56 $473.63 I realize there wont be a rear BUIS, carrying handle, or other optics. In addition this isn't covering shipping or FFL transfer (which in my case is $20). With that in mind, I'm not missing anything to complete the build between these two items, am I ? When I shopped around and came up with the items, I'd generally come up around $700 ish, and a few people have reccomended builds to some of the newbies (not unlike me) that have been around 600 - 700, so I mostly wanted to make sure I had everything I needed to complete my first build. The upper is DPMS as well, oh yeah, no DPMS bashing please Herewww.wishlistr.com/allenrice |

You can build them for cheaper if you use used parts and wait and keep an eye on the EE boards here for good deals. I built an SP1 type rifle complete for $375 one time from parts from the EE boards. And i also helped a freind of mine build an M4 type rifle for around $400 once also. So it can be done for cheaper just not with new parts. E3 |
| The upper is DPMS (thats in the first post), my only complaint is that its a phantom and not a troy medieval perm attached. I asked and no, they cannot attach a different one. That just gives me an excuse to swap that upper out for a 14.5 LMT with the medieval attached :) |
+1 built a quality AR lightweight for $362 from parts from the EE tag for review and outcome of the upper and company above... |
| I spent around $730 for a superior arms lower, M1S CAR 16 kit but I got the flat top and spent $100 on a removable carry handle and removable front sight, spent another $25 on the floating handguard upgrade, $15 on some JPE fire control springs, $30 on a couple of mags, and around $30 for a case so the base kit would have been much cheaper for me if I hadn't gotten a few extras ;) |
