So, Functionally what is the difference between a 16" barrel with a midlength gas system and a 16" with a pigtail gas tube?
I'm just wondering because it seems like they would function about the same. Am I missing something?

I have a carbine gas system on my M4gery and it runs 100% with the reg gas tube, same thing on my 7.5in pistol. I would avoid the pigtail and save your self $80.
