I'm trying to find a gas block with a rail on the bottom and integral flip up sight.  Maybe even a nice one piece with rails on top and bottom. One piece preferred.  The main thing is that I want the rail on the bottom and a BUIS on it, whether integral or another rail on top.  Know of any makers?

I have seen those.  Is there anything else? Maybe something that is not a  2 piece?

Will add to this.

Are the aluminium block okay to mount on 16" barrels. I heard that the hot gas in barells under that can 'blow out' the gas hole in these blocks over time.

I'd like to know as well. What are the differences in steel vs. aluminum BESIDES weight.

I've read that sustained firing will cause aluminum gas blocks to expand due to heat which will cause gas pressure to leak between the block and barrel and potentially cause malfunctions.

I'm looking for the same dealie-whacker for my next build. I'm not sure you're going to be able to avoid the 2-piece FSB

here's a few starting at the middle of this page

Would it be possible/safe to jerry-rig a hybrid flip front sight gas block with a 2-piece removable rail gas block?

The top piece of this (The one the far right):
http://www.rockriverarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=AR3300&storeid=1&image=frtst.gif

The bottom piece of this (The one the far left):

I would think this could work as long as the holes match up. The bottom piece simply acts as a brace, right?

I think this would aesthetically pleasing & is exactly what I'm looking for on my next build, granted it wouldn’t cause imminent danger to me or those who are close by. his
Thanks for the technical/safety input in advance!

***EDIT***

Never Mind. 3rd one down:

The search is over! If only they were in stock.

Besides the holes matching up, the screws must too. Other than that, it may work...
