| I'm trying to find a gas block with a rail on the bottom and integral flip up sight. Maybe even a nice one piece with rails on top and bottom. One piece preferred. The main thing is that I want the rail on the bottom and a BUIS on it, whether integral or another rail on top. Know of any makers? |

I'm looking for the same dealie-whacker for my next build. I'm not sure you're going to be able to avoid the 2-piece FSB here's a few starting at the middle of this page http://www.gunaccessories.com/AR15-M16Parts/GasTubesBlocksHandGrips.asp http://www.model1sales.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=BPGB04&storeid=1&image=gasblock.gif&CFID=6575527&CFTOKEN=53833952 I suppose this might be an option...but not for me 6th or 7th picture down http://www.samson-mfg.com/MRFS.htm If your looking for sights front, back, or otherwize this is the place to go! hock.gif hail.gif http://www.moviebadgirls.com/ar15_page1.html http://www.moviebadgirls.com/ Other than that Im pissed I cant find that Flip Front sight with under-rail built in |

Would it be possible/safe to jerry-rig a hybrid flip front sight gas block with a 2-piece removable rail gas block? The top piece of this (The one the far right): http://www.rockriverarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=AR3300&storeid=1&image=frtst.gif The bottom piece of this (The one the far left): http://www.model1sales.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=BPGB04&storeid=1&image=gasblock.gif&CFID=6575527&CFTOKEN=53833952 I would think this could work as long as the holes match up. The bottom piece simply acts as a brace, right? I think this would aesthetically pleasing & is exactly what I'm looking for on my next build, granted it wouldn’t cause imminent danger to me or those who are close by. his Thanks for the technical/safety input in advance! ***EDIT*** Never Mind. 3rd one down: http://www.yankeehillmachine.com/store/sights.html The search is over! If only they were in stock. |
