I saw a picture on this forum I a guy who did his revolver in norrells. I received a Taurus M85 as a gift and want to coat it. I know it says to have it sand blasted with 80 or 90 grit but is there another way to prep the surface, say sand paper?

Never mind found a cheapo siphon sandblaster that I will take to work and use there compressor. But what kind of abrasive media should I use on SS?

The Norrells website (molyresin.com) lists the pressure and media for blasting, they can square you away.
