more of the barrel is covered so it wont burn your leg when going to a pistol

i suppose if you went with a quad rail there would be more room for accessories... longer sight radius and longer gas tube for the advantages of gas system timing are the routine things i hear.
they are offered often enough, but i'm kind of noticing fewer of them around. maybe it is a situation where i'm just seeing so many other configurations becoming popular. |
